The FutureEverything Music Hub at Kro 2 is the place to hear some of the city’s finest rising talents. Kro 2’s Secret Garden Stage plays host to live sets and sounds by Manchester’s best emerging artists shot straight from the hip. The place to kick back and catch some great acts.

Trawling the charity shops on lunch breaks and delving into the most secretive reaches of the internet, the pilots of ThisWeeksGold bring the finest selection of forgotten gems and future obscurities to your ears via the medium of crackly vinyl and laptop wizardry.

Everything from garage rock and wonky house to leftfield hip-hop and mutant disco.

7.00-7.30 Real Dolls

Falling in step with the likes of N.A.S.A, Santigold & M.I.A, this party band will make you move with their bold, fresh mix of hip-hop, electro, dancehall and Japanese pop. From bass heavy dirt to high octane house, the Real Dolls’ repertoire spans the music spectrum from sing along summer jams to full on club anthems.

The Warehouse Project resident brings his unmistakable low-slung, reverberating sound.

Hey Zeus follow a rhythmically-driven art rock formula: cerebral and progressive but also packed with infectious hooks - think the sort of literate new wave pop associated with classic Scottish bands like Orange Juice and Aztec Camera, but welded to the broad sonic palette so effectively pioneered by Vampire Weekend.
