The FutureEverything Music Hub at Kro 2 is the place to hear some of the city’s finest rising talents. Kro 2’s Secret Garden Stage plays host to live sets and sounds by Manchester’s best emerging artists shot straight from the hip. The place to kick back and catch some great acts.

5.00-5.30 Caro Snatch (Live)

Super-charged with other-worldly atmospherics, Caro Snatch juggles beatboxes, samplers, effects etc in real time whilst singing, performing her elliptical poetry over ambient melodic drones whilst a female opera singer adds an eerie accompaniment.

5.30-7.00 Jayne Compton (Switchflicker Records)

Jayne Compton has been at the helm of Club Brenda for over a decade. This innovative, underground club night blends music, art, poetry and performance. Expect everything from Dangermouse to MIA

7.00-7.30 Run Toto Run (Live)

Hotly tipped by everyone from the Guardian and BBC 6 Music to NME and Xfm for their curious mix of anti-folk and airy, Postal Service-indebted electronic, Run Toto Run are braced for very big things. Catch them here while you can.

7.30-9.00 The Boy (Neon Kicks DJs)

The Boy throws down a fast and furious mix of synthpop, French house, indie remixes and electro bangers in a high-energy party melee. Formerly the driving force behind highly-acclaimed (but lamentably short-lived) electro band Neon Kicks, The Boy cut his DJing teeth with support slots for the likes of Streetlife DJs.
