New IO? - Interaction in the networked city panel discussion and workshop

With the increase in mobile, personal and ambient technologies (such as public screens and ubiquitous connectivity), the ‘interaction order’ (IO) of behaviours in public spaces and associated social skills are evolving. This data session explores first observations from fieldwork in Manchester, and participants will be invited to engage in ‘hands-on’ collaborative analysis of video and audio clips of naturally occurring behaviour.
