Moments of Breathing with You - Hafsah Naib

Cornerhouse in collaboration with FutureEverything, is pleased to host artist-in-residence Hafsah Naib, who will respond to current exhibition Contemporary Art Iraq. Over this four-day period, Naib will locate her site-specific practice within the context and site of Cornerhouse galleries, initiating and facilitating a range of creative encounters with visitors in order to produce an online moving book.

Every hour of the exhibition, she will initiate an encounter and document it visually in collaboration with a gallery-goer through various video, drawing, photographic and written methods.? ?Drop in any time between 12:00 and 20:00 to meet the artist and participate in the production of this unique story. Hafsah works within a site-specific way negotiating access into a range of places and spaces through which notions of public and private, individual and collective, contemporary art and popular culture can be explored.
