I am a Mathematician and Space Scientist by education and training - therefore cosmology and space exploration are very close to my heart. One of my roles in the university is providing education and public outreach through a variety of public engagement activities. I am the founder and Knowledge Anchor of the *Let*s get Astrophysical on Oxford Road* public lecture series now entering its fourth season. I was elected a fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society in recognition of my contribution to the provision of accessible public engagement programs in Astronomy and Geophysics with specific reference to the Space Sciences, Mathematics and Computing
